Some photos found in the archives of the Venice Library Collection show this building as a private residence occupying four floors including the ground floor, this around the first half of the 20th century. The outdoor of the ground floor was a fruit market (see picture on side). Our property has only 11 rooms, which enables us to ensure the utmost in attentive, personalized and friendly service. Some renovation works were made during last January 2002: painting of the façade of the hotel to renew the look of the property and extensive restructuration works in the rooms and bathrooms.

On the ground floor there is a large reception room with a sofa and four comfortable armchairs where our guests can rest and relax. It is the main exchange point of the hotel, where guests like to chatter together and where we use to give all information regarding our city in order to help them to spend their holidays as real Venetians ! Luggage can be left there under our close supervision if our guests wish to visit immediately the surroundings. Behind the reception there is the Breakfast room, open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. We welcome with great pleasure families with children (I have myself 3 childs and plenty of nephews). We will not fail to give you our best advices to find an excellent restaurant at cheap/moderate cost, where you may enjoy the fresh ingredients and natural flavors of the traditional Venetian cuisine. We will also help you in organizing your itineraries in Venice to discover its most exciting sites.
