Oour property has a spectacular location, just 5 minutes on foot from the magnificent Scuola Grande di San Rocco (which was built in 1515 and is a repository of the paintings of Tintoretto but has also other works from Giorgione, Tiziano and Tiepolo) and the Frari Church which dates back to the middle of the fourteenth century. We also are 10 minutes far from the infamous Rialto bridge, where everyday all Venetians go and buy fresh fish, meat and fruits/vegetables. In the middle of this “very Venetian” confusion, the tourist may enjoy discovering typical handmade “chef-d’oeuvre” such as Murano glass and all kind of masks, but also excentric boutiques selling everything . We find ourselves only 10 minutes from Venice railway station and 10 minutes from Piazzale Roma, the entrance of Venice, with all parking facilities... this only to remember to those who visit Venice for the first time that our wonderful city has no access to cars. St. Mark’s square finds itself only 20 minutes on foot from our property. |

How To Reach Us: From the airport, you may take a private water taxi (rather expensive) or bus n° 5 which departs every half an hour and takes about half hour to reach Piazzale Roma (car terminal). From Piazzale Roma or from the railway station, you can take vaporetto (water bus) n° 1 or n° 82 to stop n° 10 (S. Tomà), then ask for Frari Church and our hotel. If you have only a few luggage and choose to walk, we are 10 minutes far from either Piazzale Roma or the railway station, just ask for the Frari Church well known in Venice. If you arrive by car, parking facilities are available directly at Piazzale Roma. Then you should take vaporetto n° 1 or n° 82 and follow the directions indicated before.
